You Take What You're Dealt & Make the Best of It - Family's Story Living in Mobile Home in Chafee County

The Chaffee County Housing + Health initiative is part of the Health Disparities Grant Program, a research and empowerment grant operated by Colorado’s Department of Public Health and Environment’s Office of Health Equity.

A family shares their story about living in a mobile home in Chaffee County and why the county needs more affordable housing. The family is now facing the fear of losing their home to make room for more RV lots which means having to demolish the home they have grown to love. Angela Wallace hopes to one day be able to buy a forever home for her family, but housing prices are currently too high to make this dream come true.
