Luna and Chris — Queer Stories: Health Inequities in Colorado

This story product was submitted by Colorado Equity Compass (CEC) awardee Out Boulder County. Out Boulder County is an LGBTQ+ community center that advocates on behalf of Colorado’s LGBTQ+ population and used its funding to collect stories related to the social determinants of health. Luna and Chris shed some light on the inequities in health care faced by LGBTQ+ community. Including a harrowing story of how bigotry almost separated Chris and Luna from their beloved service animal and family member.
