In order to reduce crime and improve public safety, we must ensure our communities are connected and have opportunities for all to thrive. Being involved in the criminal justice system makes it challenging to do either of things but despite the challenges Southeast Colorado Springs residents Juaquin Mobley and Estevan Medina have found ways to provide the opportunities and connections through the Transforming Safety Grant Program.
