Storytelling as Medicine

This is a story product from CEC Awardee: Southwestern Colorado Area Health Education Center (SWCAHEC). Sunny Dooley is a well-known Diné storyteller who believes that stories relay important cultural knowledge that contributes to health and wellbeing. In this interview, she expands on how connections to others and to the Earth that sustain communities are communicated through stories.

Sunny Dooley is not a staff member at SWCAHEC- though her granddaughter is. She is doing an event with SWCAHEC promote storytelling as a culturally based modality for addressing health and wellness.
